Swanson Health recently launched W/I/O (which stands for Wellness Inside and Out), a new brand focused on mental health and mental wellness. Little Big Brands, an award-winning independent branding and design agency, handled the brand strategy, logo and packaging.
Little Big Brands was tasked with identifying the target audience, W/I/O’s relationship to the current Swanson Health brand, optimizing the product portfolio, and developing a compelling brand strategy, voice and creative. This included:
The agency team started with an ownable brand purpose: to make mental wellness understandable, acceptable and achievable for all.
The design utilises a bold editorial style, reflecting the brand’s personality of being “your go-to guide” – informing, encouraging and empowering through a welcoming conversational tone. To reinforce key benefits a system of monoline icons were developed to reinforce the various product segments.
The packaging evokes a feeling of trust and confidence through its deep cobalt blue bottles accented by a soothing color palette that provides clear differentiation across the range.
